View Candidate Connections and Suggested Relationships from the Search Profile Page

Access information about candidates without leaving your search

Written by Kim

Thrive surfaces two types of relationship information directly on the search profile page, so you can see important context without opening a new tab or navigating to the candidate profile:

  1. Connections — how you are connected to a candidate (through your direct network)

  2. Suggested Connections (formerly "Reporting Relationships") — how candidates are connected to each other through current or former reporting lines

Here's how it works

1. Click on the name of a candidate within your search

2. After you click on their name, the summary table should open on the left-hand side. Move your cursor over to the candidate's avatar in the summary table.

3. Hover over the avatar until the image turns into a lightning bolt. Then click on the lightning bolt.

4. After clicking on the lightning bolt, a candidate summary panel should appear on the right-hand side where you can access both connections and Suggested Connections by clicking on "Connections".

If you don't see any Connections or Suggested Connections, it's because they haven't been added to your database yet. Check out our tutorial on how to add them—and learn why you should.
