Setting Up LinkedIn Assistant in Thrive
The LinkedIn Assistant is a Chrome extension built into Thrive that lets you parse LinkedIn profiles directly into your system — and take key actions without ever leaving LinkedIn. To get started, navigate to your account icon in the top right, select My Account, then go to Integrations. From there, download the extension via the Chrome Web Store link, add it to Chrome, then return to Thrive to authorize it. Once you see the green "successfully authorized" confirmation, you're ready to go.
What you can do from the extension:
Parse a new profile — find someone on LinkedIn, open the extension, save their profile to PDF, and Thrive will automatically create a record from it
Update an existing profile — if someone has new experience or has moved, reparse their profile to sync the latest info into Thrive
Add to a project — search and add a candidate to an existing project and set their stage, all without leaving LinkedIn
Log outreach — record a LinkedIn outreach directly from the extension, with subject and notes
View active projects — see all projects a candidate is already part of, their current stage, and move them to a new stage (for projects where you're on the search team)h, notifications, and the quick-add (+) icon, now available from any page
Thrive Hub Page Tour and Navigation
The Hub: Your Thrive Home Page
The Hub is the landing page you'll see every time you log into Thrive. It gives you a quick view of your active work and keeps everything you need within easy reach.
Navigating the app:
Left side panel — the main navigation menu, which expands and collapses as you hover. From here you can access the Hub, Projects, People, Companies, Analytics, Lists, and Exports. Admins will also see a link to the Admin Portal at the bottom
Global search — in the top bar, use this to quickly find any record in the system
Notifications — the bell icon shows in-app updates to keep you informed
Quick Add (+) — available from any page, use this to quickly create a new person, project, or other record
What's on the Hub:
Projects — your active projects, organized by status. Each card shows the project owner, highest stage reached, and a "more actions" menu for things like pulling a project status update or linking to another project's strategy tab
Tasks — displayed on the right side so they're front and center when you log in; shows upcoming tasks and outreach reminders
Calendar — if integrated with Google or Outlook, your calendar appears directly on the Hub so your schedule is always visible alongside your work
